Welcome!
The mission of the Aleph Society is quite simple: to promote Jewish life at Dartmouth College, more specifically in the areas of Jewish culture and social life (Am), Israel advocacy and education (Eretz) and religious observance (Adonai).
The two primary venues for Jewish life at Dartmouth are Chabad at Dartmouth, led by Rabbi Moshe Gray and his wife, Chani, and Dartmouth Hillel led by Rabbi Edward Boraz. Both organizations host weekly Shabbat dinners and other religious and social events. Rabbi Moshe Gray also teaches Dartmouth students as part of the Sinai Scholars program.
The Aleph Society at Dartmouth Dartmouth College is the first organization of it's kind at Dartmouth. Our goal is to provide current students, prospective students and alumni with a central repository for all things Jewish at Dartmouth College. A full calendar of Jewish events, message boards, blogs and information regarding myriad areas will be at your fingertips. We here at the Aleph Society at Dartmouth College are thrilled and excited to help build an even more vibrant Jewish community in beautiful Hanover, New Hampshire.
